The NEW number will be: 404-323-9397

toll free number will NOT change and remains 877-924-6073

your contacts information
accordingly.
The Georgia Geriatric Education
Center is a non-profit education and resources
clearinghouse supported by the University of Georgia Institute of
Gerontology and other Georgia organizations to improve the knowledge
and outreach capabilities for healthcare providers who work with
Georgia's elderly population. Part of this effort includes
research to identify knowledge deficits, assess program provision and
availability in various regions in the state and ultimately the
development of tools and resources to help educators, providers and
consumers benefit from shared information. Please click on
the link below and scroll to the bottom of the page to participate in a
survey for data collection. Whether you are serving Georgia's
elderly population in a hospital, home care, hospice or other service
area, your feedback means improved services to the elders of Georgia.

Advocacy is more than being aware of issues that affect patient care delivery and business operations.
It’s about expressing your thoughts and ideas to your elected officials.
It’s about taking the time to share your passion for end-of-life care.
Most importantly, it’s about reaching out to the people who can make a difference in policy and legislation that will effect change for the improvement of care and service delivery to a vulnerable population.
