Virtual Grief Support: The COVID-19 pandemic has created challenges for bereavement counselors in continuing to companion our clients on their grief journey. The virus is also adding a new dimension to some individual’s grief story. Families are not being able to have funerals after not being able to be by their loved one as they died. Or, they may not have seen their family member for months prior to the death. How does a bereavement counselor meet these challenges and provide compassionate, ethical, and confidential support to these clients. As with most challenges, having to change almost everything about how we provide support has also given tremendous opportunities for learning, growth, and greater creativity. In this webinar, you will learn how to develop a tele-grief support form. You will understand the challenges to confidentiality for both individual support and group support. Learn ethical practices for the safety of the client and your practice.  Peer support is always vital so there will be an opportunity to share ideas and ask questions at the end of the presentation.
